Excellent womens healthcare in action

Whoever thinks that women are getting quality healthcare at an abortion clinic is, well, not the brightest crayon in the box. On Friday, March 27, 2009 an ambulance was called to the Riverside Planned Parenthood. The ambulance came to the back of the building where the entrance and parking lot are, but clinic staff re-directed them to the front of the building on the Arlington Street side because 40 Days for Life prayer warriors were there and RPP wanted to be as deceitful and low key about the event as possible. Let's hope and pray that this person hauled away in medical emergency transportation is OK. One doesn't have to go to far back to recall Edrica Goode, who died at the hands of RPP clinic workers.

40 Days Update

The mid-point rally was a huge success! I had placed God in a box and estimated that if 200 people showed up that that would be great. Nearly 400 people showed up and lined the street, both sides of Arlington Avenue near the Planned Parenthood clinic between Brockton and Magnolia. It was an awesome site to see! The amazing thing is the fact that God personally touched each one and guided them to the Life Chain that day. I felt a kindred spirit with each person there. Pro-life warriors are really some of the greatest people you will ever meet and fellowship with. Later, David Bereit, the National Director of 40 Days for Life spoke to us and encouraged us to keep up the good work and to continue to stand in the gap for the unborn.

Secondly, five babies have been saved so far. Pray for those mothers and fathers who made the tough but right decision. Additionally, one girl has accepted Christ as her Saviour and a few others have been encouraged to recommit their lives to the Lord and pointed back to their church families.

Men have come out of hiding and shared their abortion stories and are on their way to healing. We've become friends with two of the guards and frequently we talk about matters of faith. God is doing lots of really cool stuff here. This isn't a political issue. This is a life and death issue. God gave us life and made us in His image. If abortion is murder, we need to act like it! But really nobody knows the many ways God is using this campaign. Countless lives have been touched.

It's not too late to come out and pray. Hope to see you there!

Non-physicians performing abortions in California? You better believe it!!!

California State Senator, Sam Aanastad says “Regents of the University of California have been conducting an experiment on women" by allowing Planned Parenthood to train non-physicians to perform abortions." Under the guise of “access to primary care,” the Regents of the University of California have been conducting an experiment on women in Concord, Los Angeles and San Diego.

The project director, an attorney, apparently believes that the underserved populations of California -- overwhelmingly Latino and African-American -- would benefit from even higher rates of abortion: “It will create providers in underserved areas that need them the most… and integrate abortion services into previously existing health care networks.”

The taxpayers of California also foot the bill through the grant approval process and oversight provided by the state’s Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. Professional license fees paid by doctors and nurses to the Board of Registered Nursing, the Medical Board of California and the American College of OB/Gyns also fund project review and site visits. And the ultimate goal of the project couldn’t be clearer: “Disseminate our abortion training and utilization model to other faculties and states interested in expanding the pool of primary care abortion providers.”

More excellent women's healthcare from Planned Parenthood

New hidden-camera footage from Tucson, AZ, implicates a third Planned Parenthood clinic in a multi-state child abuse scandal. In the video, UCLA student Lila Rose and her friend Jackie Stollar enter a Tucson Planned Parenthood clinic where Rose tells the nurse that Stollar, posing as a 15-year-old, is pregnant by her 27-year-old boyfriend. The nurse disregards the age difference and even cautions Stollar not to bring her "boyfriend" before the judicial hearing required in Arizona to waive parental consent for an abortion. This negligence is punishable under Arizona law.

The video is the third released in a national undercover probe called the "Mona Lisa Project." The project, conducted by the student-led California nonprofit Live Action, records on video Planned Parenthood employees as they respond to statutory rape. Rather than reporting the rape—as the law requires—Planned Parenthood clinics hide the identity of the statutory rapist and offer secret abortions.
In the past two months, the Mona Lisa Project has exposed similar cases at two Planned Parenthood clinics in Indiana. In response, both clinics either fired or suspended employees, and state prosecutors launched investigations into Planned Parenthood of Indiana.

Christians making a difference

Wow, ten days into the Riverside 40 Days for Life Campaign and God has done some amazing things in such a short amount of time! First and foremost, four babies have been saved so far!!! One of those four might be the next Billy Graham, or a future President, the possibilities are endless! We do know that God has His hand on those four lives and He has a plan and a purpose for each one. Pray for the mothers and fathers of those four babies.

We've met so many wonderful people in 10 short days. I have to say, pro-life people are some of the most beautiful, loving and caring people you could ever hope to meet. There is a joy and a kindred spirit that we all share together that can't be beat! A lot of people are coming out to the sidewalk for the first time. This is awesome! Day by day, one person at a time we're building a little pro-life army right here in Riverside, California! A special thanks goes out to each one of you who have spent time praying on the sidewalk at the Riverside Planned Parenthood.

There is some exciting news to share. David Bereit, the National Director for 40 Days for Life will be visiting our campaign on Sunday, March 15th. Remember, we will be doing a "life chain" on that day, holding signs, singing worship songs and praying. Don't forget to come out and tell EVERYONE you can to come and join us. David will be speaking at the event that will start at 2:00 p.m. and go to 3:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter.

Hey, keep checking back for more updates and information regarding the Riverside campaign. Also, I will be posting updates regarding some ominous pro-death legislation that could be coming front and center before our Congress soon.
